I Have Been Appointed as a Delegate to the State Bar Resolutions Committee at the Annual Meeting

Written by Robert Ray

I am a Texas attorney. I am Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

The committee is part of the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting in Austin and considers resolutions submitted for review and approval. “Any resolutions adopted by the committee will be considered by attendees of the General Session. If adopted by that body, the resolution expresses the majority opinion of those attending the General Session, not the majority opinion of the State Bar membership.”

I will also be speaking on Friday afternoon at the 60 Tech Tips in 60 minutes session put on by the Computer & Technology Section of which I am a past Chair.

Today is a great day to join the Computer & Technology Section of the State Bar of Texas! Members of the Section receive benefits including access to our App with Texas statutes and case law, a newsletter with informative articles regarding beneficial technology, and the opportunity to collaborate with other Texas lawyers to improve your practice. Learn more about joining at https://lnkd.in/eehdaRJ hashtag txbartech

For the attorneys viewing this post, the annual meeting is a great time and place to:

  1. Get all of your yearly CLE;
  2. Become involved in the Bar;
  3. Meet some really great people; and
  4. Have a great time.
