I am a Texas trial lawyer and the author of this blog, which reports on cases and issues under the Texas Citizens Participation Act (TCPA), often called the Texas anti-SLAPP law.

I am based in the DFW area — Lantana, Denton County, Texas.

I have over 40 years of trial experience.

I have received a lifetime achievement award from the State Bar Computer & Technology Section, and I am a past Chair of the Section. I was appointed by the Chief Justice to be an ex-officio member of the Judicial Committee on Information Technology that brought e-filing to Texas. I have spoken at State Bar events and published articles in the Texas Bar Journal and the American Bar Association's GP Solo publication.

Board certification

I am Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
